Cojoba is a hardcore/punk band from Puerto Rico. The band formed in 1995 with the intention to break out of the mold of what was common in the rock scene of the island at that time.

In 1996, they recorded their first self-financed cassette titled Espíritu de Punk. This recording started to establish themselves in the local scene. In 1999, they followed with their second production titled Vienen por Nosotros.

They continued to release self-financed recordings as the new millennium began (Simulacro, Jugando con Fuego) and in 2003 released Sin Excusas.
