It was a politically neutral group, comprised of eminent physicists and other scientists and

(including nuclear weapons and nuclear power).

In so doing it also sought to inform fellow scientists and the public of the essential facts,
usually via published papers and other documents.

History

Taste (originally “The Taste”) was formed in Cork, Ireland in August 1966 as a trio consisting of Rory Gallagher on guitars & vocals, Eric Kitteringham`on bass, and Norman Damery on drums. In their early years Taste toured in Hamburg and Ireland before becoming regulars at Maritime Hotel, an R&B club in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In 1968 Taste began performing in the UK where the original lineup split up. The new lineup formed with Richard McCracken on bass and John Wilson on drums. The new Taste moved permanently to London where they signed with the record label Polydor. While with Polydor, Taste began touring the United States and Canada with the British supergroup Blind Faith. In 1969 Taste released their first two studio recordings, the self-titled “Taste” first and “On The Boards” soon following, the latter showing Rory and the band’s jazz influences with Gallagher playing saxophone on numerous tracks. In November, the band, along with Yes, opened for Cream at Cream’s farewell concerts.

Perhaps their most notable performance came in 1970 as part of the Isle of Wight Festival, joining such notable musicians as Jimi Hendrix and The Who. They were well-received by those in attendance, ultimately being called back for five encores. Later the same year Taste would once more tour Europe before performing their last show on New Year’s Eve in Belfast. In 1970 Taste split leaving frontman Rory Gallagher to pursue his solo career.

Some years after the band’s untimely split, earlier recordings featuring the original lineup emerged. These are rough and ready runthroughs, some of which would have had appeared on the first Taste album. Fascinating for fans, not least because of the quality of Gallagher’s guitar playing is not evident. Whereas his fretwork would appear on the later version, the solo slots here are filled by his harmonica playing.

In the August 2006 issue of Blues in Britain it was revealed that John Wilson has made Taste active once again. Bass player Richard McCracken will join Wilson when available and they will be joined by new members Nicky Scott on bass and Sam Davidson on guitars.

They became largely recognized after workmen discovered them in large quantities while cutting into the Mohawk River Valley dolostone in the late 1700s. Geologists discovered exposed dolostone in Herkimer County and began mining there. The popularity of mining for double-terminated quartz in the Herkimer County outcroppings is what lead to the name, Herkimer diamonds. Currently, Herkimer diamonds can be found in large quantity in at least Herkimer, Fulton, and Montgomery counties.

These quartz crystals, which formed extremely slowly in small pockets or vugs, have 18 facets (6 sides) and two terminations. They can be found clear, cloudy, or even containing a variety of rare impurities. Impurities (rare and general) can include clusters, scepters, enhydro, phantom, and bridge crystals. An enhydro contains a water pocket within the crystal, and a phantom is a crystal which contains an image of itself within.

The crystals referred to unofficially as “Herkimer Diamonds” are officially known as “Little Falls Diamonds” because they are found in a rock formation called “Little Falls Dolostone.”
Some years ago a resident of the village of Herkimer bought one of the diamond mines, and started calling the crystals Herkimer Diamonds, although none are found in the village. They are abundant in the City of Little Falls, and the public library there has a large display of the crystals.

It is the oldest known crustal rock outcrop in the world. The Acasta Gneiss is named for the nearby Acasta River east of Great Slave Lake some 350 km north of Yellowknife. The rock exposed in the outcrop formed just over four billion (4 x 109) years ago; an age based on radiometric dating of zircon crystals (4.03 Ga orthogneisses (Bowring & Williams, 1999), which are the oldest rocks in the world so far).

    In 2003 a team from the Smithsonian Institute collected a four-tonne boulder of Acasta Gneiss for display outside the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.

    The Acasta outcrop is found in a remote area of the Tlicho land settlement.

    According to some timings of the geological periods, it was formed in the Basin Groups unofficial period of the Hadean eon, which came before the Archean: see Timetable of the Precambrian.

    Starship Billion Year Bunker is a fictional space ship from the Douglas Adams short story Young Zaphod Plays it Safe.

    The Starship Billion Year Bunker was commissioned by the Galactic government to carry certain “by-products”, such as aorist rods and biological weapons. The crew was to steer the ship towards a black hole, where it would be sucked in and forever be destroyed. However, the captain took a detour to his home planet because he wanted some of the lobsters that were in abundance on the planet. The ship crashed into the water.

    The Album Cover

    Designed by Hipgnosis and although not as imaginative as some of their later work, the front cover photograph was taken in Hyde Park and is said to feature “every single one of the Island artistes … bleary eyed after a party.”[2]</br>The rear cover consists merely of a track listing and monochrome images of the covers of eight of the sampled albums (Tracks 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 & 2.6).

    The Album

    In Edo’s debut album, he talks about all kinds of things from bloody revenge in the song Saletova Osveta to tragic love in Mahir i Alma and during the Yugoslav war he talks about great fighters (soldiers) and those black market dealers in the song Sverc Komerc and Pare, Pare a song about being rich and having everything he ever wanted, also in the song Znas Me, Edo talks about his dislike of drugs and politics and government also in it he talks about drug dealers and how he hates them and in it he kills two drug dealers. He also raps about the paranormal and aliens in the songs Prikaze which is about how some creatures are in his dreams and haunt him and then in the song Jesmo’l Sami he talks about aliens and if they exist how do they live compared us.


    Production

    This album was produced mainly by Dash with the help of Shot and Koolade. All songs were recorded by Mladen Malek in studio 25. Mix by Silvio Pasaric in studio Morris, also mixed by Shot and Koolade in studio 25. The mastering was done by Miro Vidovic in studio Morris. The cover was done by EdoAlmin Chelo and logo by Filip Tattoos. It was all released on the Menart label and Bosnias FmJam records.

Upon inserting a coin, the game begins its typical maze-style play like in the original Pac-Man, but upon entering an “escape” tunnel, a pinball is launched below on the main playfield where the player can gain extra points. The monsters are noted for being extremely aggressive, fast, and unpredictable, frequently breaking the rules of movement established in Namco’s official Pac-Man games. Also, the game initially starts off with no energizers: the player is forced to earn them in the pinball portion of the game, making Baby Pac-Man notoriously difficult despite its infant hero.

    Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man beam with pride as Baby Pac-Man follows in his parents’ dot-chomping footsteps. A video game with a great pinball feature, Baby Pac-Man leads you where neither video nor pin has gone before.
    Game action begins with the ever-popular Pac-Man maze where Pac-Baby happily munches away on white dots. However there are no helpful energizers to help you fight against the deadly monsters. Make your escape to the pinball playfield and enhance your video action by earning energizers, tunnel speed-up, and valuable fruits.

The game is set in the future where the world is ruled by an all-seeing machine called “The eYe” which has eradicated everything that promotes creative expression. You play Dubroc, a secret agent of The eYe who in the course of his duties has re-discovered a database of popular rock music, and is sentenced to death in “The Arena”, a live television show broadcast through satellites to the world in which the contestant battles fighting arena champions called the Watchers… from there Dubroc, the secret agent, goes on a quest to destroy The eYe. Elements of the story do seem to bear a remarkable resemblance to that of the later Queen musical, We Will Rock You.

    The game contained five CDs which, along with the electronic files in the game itself, featured electronical instrumental remixes of many Queen tracks [1] and is considered a collector’s item by fans due to this music. Despite Queen’s popularity the electronic game suffered poor sales due to weak gameplay, very little promotion and graphics that already seemed dated at release due to the electronic video entertainment software-based game’s unusually long development time.
